We all know that cats live in a world of their own, by their own rules and wishes. Whatever they say goes and there's nothing we, the mortal bunch, can do about it. Actually, no. There is something we can do. As the adults of the dynamic, it is our duty to figure out individual approaches that fit our cats best. Some require more attention, others prefer less. Some are affectionate, others are not. It all comes down to what works best for you, but most importantly, your cat.

One thing is for sure it's that there's never a dull moment with cats. Sometimes, they yell at us to come cuddle them ASAP and others, they slap us for petting them for too long. Which reminds us! We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone posted a meme from Squid Games along with the caption, "Me when I pet my cat for 1 second too long". The meme is from the subway slapping scene, which honestly speaks volumes. Cat people, bless their souls, could not skip out on the chance to provide cat tax and we obviously had to share.
